What is Sound Bathing?
Sound bathing is a relaxing and healing practice that uses sound to calm your body and mind. You are immersed in a variety of vibrations and sounds, such as gongs, bowls, bells and chimes, that soothe your being. Unlike many other forms of meditation, with sound bathing there are no instructions to follow. Just be in the here and now.
The sound bath can help your brain waves sync in to a steady frequency, lowering your stress, improving your mood, and enhance your awareness of the present moment. You can also enter into a deeper state of consciousness, where your body can heal and you can reconnect with yourself.
Sound bathing is a simple and natural way to unwind and recharge, and it can help you find balance, peace, and clarity.
What is Salt Therapy?
People have used salt for centuries to treat various ailments. As early as ancient Greece, people realized the healing power of salt. Native Americans also used salt to heal wounds and respiratory problems. Interest in salt as a therapeutic resurged in the 1800s Europe when it was observed that miners working in salt mines had significantly fewer respiratory problems than other people in town, even the non-miners.
Halotherapy (the modern version of salt therapy) works by exposing the body to salt particles in a controlled environment. The salt particles have anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal properties that can help with respiratory conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, and allergies. Halotherapy can also help with skin problems such as psoriasis, eczema, and acne.
